Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
NIHFCU provides all members with the opportunity to obtain Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance Coverage without cost.
- In the event an insured person loses his/her life, limb, sight, speech or hearing due to a covered accident, AD&D may help to provide you with some financial relief.
- Once your enrollment is received and your account is activated, your no-cost coverage provided by NIHFCU will be:

We’ve made arrangements to offer this coverage at no cost to you for one simple reason: We want you to know that we value your business and the opportunity to help you reach your financial goals.
- We encourage you to activate your no-cost NIHFCU-paid coverage by simply calling the number below. In addition to the credit union-paid coverage, you can also elect to purchase up to $300,000 of additional AD&D coverage for a very nominal cost.
- The additional coverage includes a common carrier benefit, educational assistance and an anti-inflation benefit. This coverage could be important financial help to you or your loved ones when they need it most. And it can be yours – with no medical exam or questions.
