With fraud and financial scams becoming more prevalent, dangerous, and sophisticated, please join us for this important session.  We’ll help increase your awareness of many of the latest financial fraud and elder abuse schemes, ways to protect yourself and what to do if you fall victim to such crimes.

  • Mr. Brandon Mengedoht – Retired Financial Crime Detective of the Montgomery Count Police Department, He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI) and a Certified Ant-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and Is the  Mid-Atlantic Chapter President.for the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.


  • Ms. Cindy Miranda – 25 year veteran police officer of the Montgomery County Police Department and a Financial Crimes Detective for the past 10 years. Detective Miranda is also the Mid-Atlantic Chapter Secretary for the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators
