For lines in excess of $250,000, NIHFCU will cover up to $2,000 in closing costs. Home Equity Line of Credit

Comments about Home Equity Line of Credit:

competitive rate; staff in Maryland were very helpful and worked with me to go through the process; however, staff in Texas office keeps harrassing me that they have no record of my home insurance and I have to purchase a policy from them -- this is total nonsense; Maryland office has all necesasry paperwork and I had to provide a proof of home insurance to ontain the Line of Credit

Recent Home Eq Loan

By -Now renovating

from Arlington, VA

Comments about Home Equity Loan:

Engaged with a total of three people (wish I wrote down names) beginning with a walk-in sans appointment. A few phone calls, e-mailing of documents and coming in to sign was completely painless. Moreover, everybody was so incredibly nice. That seems to be a real constant- at least at the GW Branch.
