ADDED MOBILE PAY OPTIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE.

Mobile pay is now available at NIHFCU in three exciting options; Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Android Pay.  Added security and convenience are just a touch away since no more swiping or entering payment information is needed.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Mobile pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) which allows two electronic devices such as a mobile phone and a store terminal to establish a secure connection and communicate data when they are within a few inches of each other.

Why should I use Mobile Pay?

  • It’s more secure. Many mobile pay systems will not show your full card number to the merchant. Apple Pay and Android Pay actually generate a random account number in place of your full card number making your transaction less vulnerable to fraud. For in-store purchases, your device never leaves your hands, so no need to reveal your name or security code.
  • It’s quicker. No more hunting for the right credit card. No more swiping. All you do is tap or place your device at the store’s mobile payment terminal and your transaction is complete.
