Easy. Secure. Private.

Use Apple PayTM with iPhone® 6 to pay in stores without swiping your cards and in apps without entering payment and contact information. Just pay with a single touch of your finger using Touch ID.

Apple Pay is a convenient new way to pay with your NIHFCU Debit or Credit card. The entire transaction is secure, as your credit and debit card numbers aren't stored on the device or on Apple's® server, so they're never shared with the merchant.

Are my payments safe when using Apple Pay?

Yes. Apple Pay includes a number of unique security features to enable secure mobile payments. To make a one-touch payment using Apple Pay, your fingerprint is needed to authenticate using Touch ID. In addition, instead of using your actual credit and debit card numbers when you add your card to Passbook, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored in a dedicated secure chip on your iPhone or iPad.

When you make a purchase, the Device Account Number, along with a transaction-specific dynamic security code, is used to process your payment. This means your actual credit or debit card numbers are never shared by Apple with the merchant or transmitted with your payment.

You still enjoy all the benefits of your NIHFCU Debit or Credit Card, which includes our Zero Liability Policy that protects you from unauthorized purchases.

If your iPhone is ever lost or stolen, you can use Find My iPhone to quickly put your device in Lost Mode to suspend Apple Pay, or you can wipe your iPhone clean completely.

When I add my NIHFCU Credit Card to Apple Pay, it doesn't look like the card in my wallet. Why?

Apple Pay uses a graphical representation, not an exact replica of your NIHFCU cards. Your NIHFCU Credit Card may look similar to the below image when added to Apple Pay:
