Online Banking & Mobile App Refresh

We’re refreshing online banking and our mobile app to make them more simple, intuitive, and easier to use.

What’s changing?

Not much! Our refresh should not interfere with your experience, but we want to point out what you will see when you log in starting the week of June 15:

A new refreshed color scheme

  • More purple and gray and less yellow and brown 

Reorganization of some features within the main menu titles

Updated bottom navigation buttons on the mobile app

Online banking and mobile app update – FAQs

Nothing at all. Simply log in and continue using your account as usual.

Everything you rely on—your accounts, payments, transfers, and settings—will all still be just a click or two away and right where you need them. Nothing about your access or security is changing.

The update will begin rolling out on the week of Monday, June 15, 2026. Once it’s live, you’ll see the changes the next time you log in.

No, a new app does not need to be downloaded.

No. Your username, password, and account details will all stay the same.

All the same features are still available—some may just be organized a little differently.

The top menu titles remain the same.  However, we have moved or added a small number of features within these titles.  The main differences you will see are as follows:

Manage Accounts

  • Will include the links to view eStatements (previously found under Tools & Resources)
  • Will include the link to use ClickSwitch (previously found under Move Money) 

Move Money 

  • Will include links to pay your NIHFCU credit card or mortgage (can also be accessed within Manage Accounts)

Financial Wellness

  • Will include a new link to our website’s Fraud & Security Hub

 

 

The feature updates outlined above will also appear in the mobile app.  In addition, the bottom navigation bar on the mobile app will also have some modifications as follows:

The current bottom navigation buttons of:

  • Accounts, Transfers, Check Deposit, Bill Pay and More

Will be revised  during the week of June 15 to:

  • Accounts, Move Money, Deposit, Credit Rx and More

 

Accounts: will continue to display a snapshot of all of our NIHFCU accounts and allow you to click-though to see more details and make transactions

Move Money: will contain links to make transactions including transfers, bill pay, Zelle, NIHFCU credit card and mortgage payments

Deposit: will continue to be your direct link to deposit checks to your NIHFCU account right form your mobile device

Credit Rx: will link you to My Credit RX to view and manage your credit score – and register for this free service if not yet enrolled.

Quick Apply:  will link you right into our online portal for fast and easy access to our loan and account applications

More: will continue to click you to the app’s main menu for access to all mobile app features

No. All scheduled or recurring activity will continue as normal.

No. The update will replace the current version, but it includes all the same functionality—just with a new layout.
