Card Management & Controls Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the NIHFCU card management portal?

For online banking users:

  • Login to your account
  • Scroll over the “Manage Accounts” tab on the top navigation
  • Select “Credit Card Management”  

For Mobile Banking Users:

  • Open your NIHFCU mobile app
  • Click the “More” button on the bottom navigation
  • Then tap “Manage Accounts” from the menu
  • Then tap “Credit Card Management”

How does the block my card feature work?

When you block a card due to loss, or theft it will stop all non-recurring transactions on that card until you unblock it. You can access the block my card feature in the Card Alerts & Controls section of online banking or your NIHFCU app.

Am I able to access card management and card controls through the mobile app?

Yes. The NIHFCU card management and card controls portals are fully optimized for mobile and available in our mobile apps.

Can I manage my debit card through card controls?

NIHFCU debit cards can be accessed through the card control portal to control the security features of the card and its alerts, but at this point, debit cards will not be accessible through the card management portal.
