How to Unenroll in Online and Mobile Banking
If you’d like to unenroll from NIHFCU’s online banking and mobile app services, please call us at 800-877-6440 and request that your online access be deleted. Your request will be processed within 2 -3 business days.
Before you unenroll, we want you to know:
When your online banking and mobile app are disabled:
You will no longer be able to log into NIH Federal Credit Union’s online banking or its mobile app. and will thus lose access to all of its features and benefits.
You will not be able to see electronic copies of your past account statements. If you are opted into eStatements, your preference will be changed to paper delivery of statements, notices, and tax documents.
Any activity you previously set up within online banking or the mobile app will be disabled and deleted. This includes Bill Pay payments and payee information, external transfers to other people or accounts, cross account transfers, scheduled or recurring transfers, and history for any of these services.
Your NIHFCU Federal Credit Union accounts and loans will remain open. This request is only used for unenrolling from online and mobile banking access.
Data that is retained once deletion is complete:
The online banking vendor does retain the username in their database so that it cannot be repeated.
Login history, device information and any data connected to login activity prior to deletion will remain available according to the data retention policy of our online banking vendor.
Please note that you can register/enroll again for online banking later if you wish to use the service at that time, but you will not be able to use the same username.
